House in Maia - Álvaro Siza

The house stands on an approximately triangular plot of land measuring 55,900 sq. ft., bounded to the east by Rua do Souto, to the north by a public road with no known name, and to the southwest by the old railroad line, now disused, which will be converted into a green route. The site develops from south to north has a 16-foot slope in line with the profile of Rua do Souto. The platform of the old railroad line is elevated, and forms a slope with a height of approximately 15 feet along the long boundar y of the site, planted with large plane trees.
