Skinners' Hall

Skinners' Hall is the ancient home of one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies in the City of London, the guilds established throughout Europe in the fourteenth century to train apprentices, set industry standards and regulate trade. Fifty-four livery companies, including Skinners' Hall, were destroyed in the Great Fire of London, making the late seventeenth century the starting point for much of the architecture that has been restored, transformed and extended over the past eight years.
