Description

Mas Nou

2019A farmhouse to be renovated. How can we update without denaturing it, without turning it into a caricature? How can we reveal its essence, recognize its spaces, its potential? Small spaces, adjoining volumes, walls that create courtyards, enclosures that expand over the years, in response to needs. Looking to the essential quality of each space for its perfect size, its atmosphere, its function. While taking the material expression from the locally grown cork.
