Lopez Cotilla 710 Apartment Building

Residential building LC710 stands in Colonia del Valle on a rectangular site with a very narrow frontage in a street full of jacarandas. The proportions of the site and its orientation were ideal for generating a compositional scheme based on three volumes, interspersed with three courtyards, to contain six apartments. Various habitats are developed using the voids, with intervals of half-shadow and light suiting the requirements of the program. The first four homes are set out in a crisscross pattern between the first two volumes.
