Solo House - OFFICE

Solo House is a holiday house situated in the hills of the Matarraña region, two hours south of Barcelona. The house stands in the midst of a natural forest, overlooking the landscape. Its circular plan frames the edge of a plateau. The floor and the roof &mdashtwo ringed concrete slabs measuring 4.5 metres wide and with an inner diameter of 40 metres&mdash define the house as an enlarged perimeter. The architecture is here almost invisible, merely emphasizing the natural scenery.
