The new Prodis headquarters are located in former industrial buildings that were originally part of the Vapor Cortès textile factory. The warehouses were built using the traditional perimeter structure of brick load-bearing walls following a regular rhythm of pilasters and openings every 3 metres. The 12-metre span of the bays is covered by wooden beams &mdashsome of which had been damaged by roof leaks&mdash following the same rhythm as the pilasters. The roof also follows the traditional structure of wooden purlins and sheathing and then consists of ceramic tiles topped with barrel tiles.
