Heintzschel House - Alberto Ponis

More than 20 years had gone by since the first houses were built in Punta Sardegna. In the 1980s, they numbered in the hundreds. All the natural vegetation had grown immensely, as it was sheltered by the houses and fed by the irrigation from the gardens. It had tripled in height and density, although it also been affected by the inevitable contamination from new, unproductive and invasive species. However, the site retained its discretion and restraint, compared to other developments that had left some places unrecognizable. It seemed that the courteous, nature-loving spirit of the first English inhabitants still watched over Punta Sardegna like a patron saint.
