Grace Farms

The site is a large property filled with trees, lakes and wetlands. The program is diverse and includes a multi-purpose hall, community gathering space, gymnasium and library, as well as an athletic field and BBQ courtyard in the landscape. Our design is a long curved roof that follows the existing topography and floats above the site. Winding freely across the low hills, this timber-frame structure creates a sequence of covered outdoor spaces and courtyards. The interior programs sit below this roof, wrapped in glass. They are distributed according to their character and use&mdash one space may be quiet and more secluded, another may be a community gathering space.
