Classroom and Laboratory Building. Japan Women's University

The Japan Women’s University Mejiro Campus is composed of relatively large buildings of different ages, which surround the site allocated to our Classroom and Laboratory Building, a project that includes laboratories, 23 small and midsize classrooms and student working spaces. In order to minimize the impact on neighbouring buildings we designed a low building around an expansive courtyard. This provided ventilation and abundant daylight for all parts of the programme.
